Passing of Berrie Giebels, physicist at the Leprince-Ringuet laboratory

Institut Polytechnique de Paris is deeply saddened to announce the passing this week of Berrie Giebels, physicist at the Leprince-Ringuet Laboratory (LLR) and Deputy Director of IN2P3, from an illness. Berrie was a major figure in high-energy gamma-ray astronomy in France.
